Level 2 Photography
Course 2 is for those students who have completed Course 1 or Photography NCFE Levels 1 & 2 (or equivalent). You will extend your photography skills to gain a better understanding of the subject by working on a series of practical projects that are both challenging and enjoyable.

Our Photography Course 2 continues on from Course 1 with the expected level of work taken to a much higher standard. Three different projects will be covered with more in-depth image editing with the use of Photoshop and a greater understanding of your camera and photography techniques. It is essential to have covered Course 1 before enrolling on Course 2.
You will extend your photography skills to gain a better understanding of the subject by working on a series of practical projects that are both challenging and enjoyable.
Course Entry Requirements
It is essential to have covered Course 1 before enrolling on Course 2.
During the course we cover:
- Extending the use and knowledge of your camera
- Manual Shooting, Aperture Priority and Shutter Priority
- A further look into composition
- Working with light (natural and studio-based lighting)
- Downloading and processing your images
- More advanced image editing in Photoshop
- Storytelling in your images
Throughout the course, we teach these photographic techniques in loosely themed informal projects that allow you to express your creativity and understanding of photography without having to produce any formal or written coursework/exams.
In time there will be the option of progressing onto our Level 3 course. More information will be available at a later date.
